Day 12 of Quarantine

We turned around and got a flight back as soon as we heard the call for Canadians to return. On day 12 of quarantine, we have been adapting to this new normal. Working from home, connecting with family, home schooling, and not getting on each other’s nerves. Mostly, I think our pets are very confused as to why we’re always home and available for cuddles.
I’m in pyjamas most of the time. We definitely are producing more garbage, which doesn’t feel great. And I’m playing Blockduko way too much online.
There’s a lot of stress and worry in my job, for children and survivors of abuse who are not self isolated in safe places right now. I want them to know that myself and everyone at Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre is thinking of them and available to chat 24/7 – 1-866-298-7778. If you text or webchat, we will be able to answer you during the week 9:30 am – 4:30 pm.
